Application for Membership

MAREMA is a non-profit, professional organization that uses all dues and other funds collected to pay the expenses of the organization and support quality, educational seminars offered each year. Our services include a monthly newsletter, our web site (http://marema.com), and the MAREMA Annual Meeting for our members. The Officers and Directors are all volunteers.

Membership is on a calendar year basis. Annual dues are $150.00 for Regular Members and $200.00 for Associate Members. A corporate rate may apply to Regular and Associate Members where a minimum of five (5) or more applicants from the same Office initially sign up for membership. Monthly Meeting costs (with the exception of the annual meeting) are $25.00 for members and $30.00 for non-members.

Regular Membership Qualifications:

1) You must have held a Real Estate License for a minimum of three (3) years. Two (2) years, if you have a Commercial Real Estate designation such as CCIM, SIOR, RLI, etc.

2) 50% of your income must come from Commercial and/or Business Sales.

3) You must be sponsored by a MAREMA member in good standing.

Associate Membership Qualifications:

". . .shall consist of allied professionals whose input will aid in the promotion of the organization's objectives."

Associate Member Applicant's will be reviewed and approved by the Board of Directors on an individual basis.

Corporate Membership Qualifications:

". . .shall consist of offices with multiple applicants who may apply for Regular Membership and/or Associate Membership at a specified corporate rate."

New Real Estate Agents:

If you are a new real estate agent and/or don't meet the minimum license tenure or income requirement, ask about joining MAREMA under the MAREMA Intern Program.
